Help .i have a strong suspicion that it is possible to convert a EB WAGON TO A eL xr8 .
tHE RADIATOR SUPPORT PANNEL SEEMS to be the only major {welded}
pannel to be changed. This would be easier to do than all the bent ones we
have straightened out.
I would really appreciate assistance from anyone who has ACTUALLY done this as i have the old family hack EBV8 s/w and i dont really want to wreck it out but were building up a 347 windsor and if i put that into our au ute the boys will probably stack it within a week .
Wife wont let me play with the Canary (XR6T) something about 3 year warrenty etc

the EF/EL front will fit no dramas BUT you need a radiator support from an ef/el everything bolts up pretty much right but i am not sure about the radiator and hoses.

a** above, buy a new rad support and then strip the front pannels off the car, then with a drill and the right size drill bit, drill out all the spot welds that hold the EB rad support and use a chissle and un pick the rad support.

remove the old one and put the new one in place, best do a few small tac welds or use a few clamps to hold the new EF/EL rad support in place and line up all the parts you wish to put on make sure they all line up. when your happy with it all lined up take the parts off and using a Mig welder weld spot welds in the holes you drilles to hold the support in so your weling the new one in using the holes you drilled. the paint and put the ballen on and your done.

I plan on doing that soon.. EL XR front end on the beast..

today if all goes well I'm picking up the EL 5spd and diff...

eventually I'll have an all EL driveline and suspension in a EA shell....

I'm going to graft a EL rear bumper and trims on it as well, because without it, it looks abit mismatched the pics I've seen.
