G'day all,
The bonnet has a firbe glass bulge bought off ebay and fitted in Dandenong, the small scoop is functional with a hole cut in the bonnet above the airbox. The scoop is no longer available- I bought secondhand from here.

As advised by others here I only changed over the centre of the handles with the chrome bits, by memory 2 doors were very easy and 2 very hard. Too much effort- luckily I didn't know what I was getting myself into

Pics taken at night that way you can't see the dirt!

I like the bulge, but not so much the scoop. Each to their own.

If you don't mind me asking, how much did the bulge set you back including the labour?

Had it done in one hit,
fitting $600, bulge $150, scoop $150 and it took a week
the fibreglass flexed so i do have a small crack that will be fixed for free soon
Good value overall not perfect as you can see the join close up- would recommend steel

plastic is really hard to chrome.....
its about 98% of what i hoped for, from a distance it gives blury reflections
its done with vacuum metalising which contains aluminium, too light in colour so theres a clear with a 5% tint over the top

Its done in bunch lots, so for more than just the handles its $100 and $50 for the clear tint. I got quoted $160 for a whole dash and then I came to my senses!!!
sent them by mail so that cost $16. had to wait about 2mths until they had enough to do to turn the machine on

Cheers. I was told cracking might happen with fibre glass...but sorting out a cheap metal bulge is hard and exxy.

at the moment the airbox lid has a hole in it which can't be seen when the bonnet is down,
the hole can defeat the airbox purpose of keeping away hot engine air from the pod filter,
really like the idea of a pipe but concerned that too much crap will get in having such a 'direct' opening

on the under side of the custom are intake vent use some alloy mesh that will stop s**t getting in the intake.

simple 10 min job also cheap.
