Has anything like this been done before, i did a quick search but came up with more results of just the front end conversion. What i want to do/see is the front XR light setup being used with a Fairmont grille/front end (grille at least) if it hasnt been done/attempted before, can any one see any major issues with trying it?

You can't use the Standard XR type headlights with a Fairmont Bonnet. Major surgery would be required and I doubt that it would work anyway. The alternative is to use Twinlights, top product. Check my gallery and you will see pics of both cars done, one with Typhoon Bar and one with TS50 bar.

True enough.. does look cool.. but I have an XR bonnet and grill so I think I'll go that road except for grafting a BF or FG xr front bar bottom to the EL XR bar top.

then add BF XR side and rear skirts for that complete look and call it good.. though I do like the GS bonnet scopes.. they suit every car I've ever seen them on.. :-)

paul.. they look better with a shaker sticking out of the back of them. :-)

Be interesting to try a modify an el xr nose , set up like a twinlight kit, to get the scooped out lights on a monty front in my oppinion.

By the way how affective are the twinlight system compared to the normal headlights.
