I am looking through an Njoy Universal Tyre Fitment Guide and it is saying that the EL XR8 had 225/60 16's compared to the EF with 50's.
It says that the 50's were an option on the EL's though.

Is this true, or has the book got it wrong.

i would have to say they are 50 series, 60 aren't common at all. it would also raise the rolling diameter making it different to all other falcons.

I guess it would be the first time that one of these fitment guides had an error in it, but I do remember one time seeing a woman driving one with higher than 50 profile tyres on it and wan't sure if they them as standard or wheather some fella went out of his way to get them to lift the car a little for his wife to take to shopping centres without tearing the a*** out of his car. If they did have them then that would explain how JETXR fits such big wheel on his car. Hoping they have plenty of room under the guards for standard tickford ride height.

Was hoping someone may own an EL XR8 or have an old sale brochure with that info handy.
