Hi all,
was driving thru the local shops yesterday and spotted an EF that has been resprayed black and had the twinlights fitted to it.

On a dark colour, i dont think it looks too bad.

Thought I would share a pictur of it with ya's

Cheers,
Adz

yeah, when I first drove past i thought it was an EF XR6 but sprayed black... then i noticed the edges around the lights and realised it was a twinlight job... not bad at all!

I should have left a note for him about fordmods! next time im at the shops ill keep an eye out for it again.

also spotted an XR with GTP rims the other day - looks good too...

See guys they can look good on some cars. I think they will look just as good on my navy blue fairmont. Dark colours are better then the lite colours

the black paint job hides the panel gaps between the new twin lights and the bumper.. On a lighter coloured car the panel gaps would stick out like "dogs balls".. would have to have panel gaps tighter than a "Fish's a**" to look remotely ok on a light coloured car..

No worries mate, thats what this site is for hey...
I think Black EF/EL's look great. There arent many around, so if you did it at least you wouldnt blend in with the rest of the mob?

if you go for black or dark colurs, I think this car has proven the twinlight setup is a good option. it would be cheaper than an XR front end!

Cheers,
Adz

could always try and fill the gaps and then spray the whole thing?
but might be hard/messy job and a costly excercise if it went wrong...

I dunno, they're noticeably smaller than the propper ones, which needs to be fixed IMO.

Would go the black in a heartbeat though! :D
