Hi, I am attempting to fit an EF XR6 front bumper onto an EF Futura, the EF Futura re bar doesnt fit the EF XR6 bumper.
Can anyone that has done this conversion tell me if there is a difference between them? Thanks GEM.

Definitely ef to ef?
They say ef and el are different in the doco but not much else on it. link

I eventually got the futura re bar onto the xr6 bumper, it is a tight fit and was afraid i would damage it but it has now been fitted and i really like the look.

the xr6 rebar has cut outs across the top where the head light rings slip over. I am running the el gli rebar which is just trimmed across the top where the headlights are.
Just a trim of the gli one will suffice for your needs. If you ever see the actual xr6 rebar, then you'll see where the cut outs are. They are just four semi-circles cut out on the top edge

This is my EF 2 i bought it from ebay in December it had no rego a million small problems, i have fixed most of them and it is now registered.
i have bought an EL XR interior, front end, dash, rear bumper and EF XR bonnet, lowered king spring with pedders struts and shocks. i am after an xr6 motor and diff then it will be off to get sprayed in a pearl dark blue. thanks for the tip XPFalcon170
