No it didnt melt it but it caked an extra layer (about 2mm thick!!) in some spots.
The only thing that will fix mine if get some new ones. |

i've been looking on the net for ages for an aftermarket glass replacement headlight for the ef falcon... nothing to find so far!!
My lights aren't "that" bad but getting there ... not going to hit em with sandpaper though.

all i use is kitten cream wax does a good job and only takes about 5 minutes each headlight. stuffed if im gonna go take hours cleanin damn headlights when this does a damn fine job to say the least

That was the reason I got off my a*** and did it. The yellow film was absorbing all the light and I couldnt see s**t at night....

Good work Ugley Igley as I tried your Doco on the removing of the Yellowing of Headlights. I actually only done from 1200-2000 Wetdry and then polish as I only had a very slight yellowing on my Passenger side Headlight. But I must say they are pretty much 99% back to Original:

Yeah, Whats happening its not those Black boxes with red crosses in them that are coming up is it? I have just re-installed them any good now?
