I own a 91 EA S-pack and was wondering if it is feasible to put a EL front end on it? Has anyone done this or seen it done, any advice or opinions??

The original front end looks as if it sat behind a semi truck on a dirt road, It has a hundred chips in the paint work and looks pityful, The options i'm looking at is either a EL front end, an XR front or just find another front of the same design.

Any thoughts?

Why would you bother? The ED front looks s**t better than most EF/EL fronts. The EF Ghia maybe the only one that looks better.

the biggest part will be swapping the radiator support panel and re spot welding it

yeah its not a straight swap, as fordz said the radiator supports are different so u would have to cut the ea one out and weld an ef one in. dont see why you would really bother though

Yeah. now that i'm aware of cutting and welding involved, i probably will just go with a XR front or keep it original, Thanks for the advice. i'm just trying to find a mod that will set my car apart from the rest.

make your own front bar. Get a ef front bar and cut it and glue and fibre glass it to your one and alot of bog and sanding.

I seen a custom one for sale for a EL.

its the EL top half but on an EF venom bottom half. Might even be a EL venom but i dot think u could get them.

That's an intresting concept, Thanks for the suggestion. I will have a good think about that angle and see what i can do, maybe i could change the rear bar aswell.......

Try the custom bar, but instead of the standard eb/ed top and standard ef/el bottom i think something along the lines of a venom kit modded to fit an eb/ed could look good with some twin lights. Also as far as i know there is such a thing as a venom kit for el's as i have a el with a venom kit

a few months back i saw a EB with a EL XR front on it, was still in primer but the way the rounded el front flowed with the boxy EB rear was wicked, i say go for it!!

Hey there, i noticed you were wanting to put a el front a box car... i say go for it, iam half way threw mine mate and it looks great... if you know someone who has a welder and a little experience of removing and installing a rad id be hitting them up. U will need to nick an inch off the top of the skirts and give them a little bend and a grind back, iam doen a thread to it at the moment... heres where iam up 2 on mine. Be unique mate and the good thing is your still using original ford parts so your not over killing your car...

Very probably, but I'm curious to see how smithykicks85's turns out..
This project was one I planned myself before swapping to EL.
