Hi Guys, Ebay has el ef kits listed at the moment, these kits were not ford Item but were made one of the local ford dealers to fit to special vechiels, they are made from the same mold, they were not able to sell them till now because of an agreement they had, but that has expired now.

My wife has one on ebay now she changed her mind as they do link. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Ford-EF-EL-GT-Bo ... dZViewItem

also link to the guys we got it from both items are ex QLD. ther link. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Custom-Factory-G ... dZViewItem

From what they have told me these parts have become obselete andford no longer stock any? am i the only one hearing this :( Maybe find someone willing to make some moulds up but i find it hard to beleive that nobody has already done this before. Anyone care to shed some light here?

Yeah you didnt need to with the EL, but i was under the impression that you did all along lol. Im guessing eastern states dealers would have the bits and peices ay. The whole kit goes for 3700 from what i was told today. Wont settle for one of those warped gt kits or even the tickford skirt kits, as good as they look it aint what im after. Im just gonna be really persistant. As for EL GT owners what if they smashed their kit on a curb? been in accident. Where the hell would you get the parts from ffs? sounds kinda sus to me ay.

theyd just have theyre existing kit repaired..

the EL GT is iconic .. and id rather not see every yo cool guy that couldnt afford one driving an imposter.

thats why the EB GT is a bit meh .. every EA falcon has a EB GT bodykit.

but say the EA GT much like the EL is much more reagrded achknowledging the fact it was a non release but the kit and so forth are unavailable. Hence its a heritage car.

Besides I think the Venom kit looks better on Falcons than the GT kit does on the GT's.

Depends on the extent of the damage dude lawl not everything is repairable. Have a front end accident and crumple everything. Goodluck fixing that s**t. Im determined to source this kit, and i aint no yo cool guy since my project ef will snap an el gt. It would be a different story if i was like those commy boys who kit up the executive with a senator kit and be running near stock 6er. Im my personal opinion i think the venom kit is not an attractive one.

I wasnt necissarily refering to you as the "yo cool" guy , and in fact im sure someone in an el gt, couldnt care less about a boy racer in his EF. The car isnt a fast car we all know that, its about the image of the car and what it represents.

I wish you luck sourcing that kit. Youll be a popular lad if you can.

or you could just buy an EL GT and make it faSTER.

Because the parts aren't available, your insurer would write off a damaged EL GT.

So those lucky enough to own one (I almost did) don't crash them.

I think you will find it quicker stock, than XRGT, XTGT, XWGT, XAGT, XBGT and last but not least, EBGT, so in all reality, 14.9 is not quick by todays standards, but was 16's quick in XB days?

I would get an ELGT but im not the one to keep a car goin in a straight direction and i wouldnt wanna treat an ELGT like s**t so that was my downside. Although if i did own one id be making fibre glass copies ay. Doesnt look to good so either i find the kit or chuck all my parts onto an au xr6. What was the et for the XY?

I think that 347strokershould make up some moulds of his kit. If you got the moulds made up ( ithink the moulds are like 700 each arnt they??? anyone confirm this?) and then sold the kits. You would need to sell a couple and you wouldmake your money back pretty quick.
