You can't buy an EL GT kit. Moulds never came out.

You can only get the "EF GT" kit which was designed by a bloke called Peter Haines in NSW. Looks quite different to the EL GT kit. Grill, front bar and front bar are "chunkier" and larger Tickford sideskirts are use instead of the EL GT sideskirts. The rear bar, rear wing and front scoop are all the same as the EL GT though.

As for the grill. Contact Peter Haines and get him to make you a bar without a grill. He makes them for the Fairmonts. These front bars look awesome with a fairmont bonnet/grill assembly instead of the GT style grill.

Best setup - el tickford kit with venom or typhoon fron bar - SSV stock em.

Im not putting on the rear wing or bonnet vents or the grill. So i really dont think its gonna look boy racer. Im just a bit bored with standard XR kits on everything

I didn't ask about the wheel arch flares but I assume, as he doesn't offer it as part of his "GT kit", that he doesn't make them...

I provided an alternative to what he suggested, after all he said he was thinking about it, not that he is definitely getting that kit. IMO theres plenty of better looking kits out there.
seemed pretty set on that kit... all he was asking was about deleting that ugly grill.. and asking about "does it look any good"... was in relation to without the ugly grill... not the kit on the whole... its his car.. he can do as he please's... even if that means stuck on scoops.. 4WD ride height.. neons.. racing stickers.. canon exhaust.. chasers... or chromies.. with blue led water nozzles.. under body neon kit.. and flame window tint.. not to mention super cheap auto pod filter.. ebay resistor mod chip.. or an electronic supercharger... with forrd racing slip on seat covers... fluffy dice.. and "blue matrix" ciggerette lighter...

the kit is ok, not my first choice but in the end its down to what YOU want so dont listen to any1 else its your car and you have to look at it. if i did ever get the kit i would also delete the grill and spoiler.

Thanks mods.

This guy does the same kits (not sure if he does the Fairmont front bar)

His kits are cheaper and not quite as good as Peter's (from what I've heard)

I'll see if I can dig out Peter's number.

EDIT: Found it!

His number is 0402064444.
