I've never liked these bars with the XR headlight surround moulded in, it just didn't look right, but seeing it separated dosnt look too bad actually.

Wow that looks so angry.
Love it.

phunkshun so it has 21cm's of clearance in the middle of the bar and 20 cm's on the sides where it is lower.
But this is with stock suspension.

RedX - car looks great also, I was thowing up the idea of either the grey or black for my insert bits, but as the theme on my car is blue/black i went with black. :)

Alan96ef - cheers, I only have the ef version kit with the smaller door pods but i got it very cheap so im not complaining. except i need to paint and fit lol

Oh does anyone here know if Golden6 has got kit bar yet and fitted. He looked at mine in person when it was in primer to see if he wanted to get one and said that he'd beat be to getting one fitted and painted :)

Getting the Phoon kit

Sandstone yours has the inserts around the front of the bar and the others dont, how'd you get that bit?

and my ute is kinda already slammed so just wondering if any1 has the measurements of the stock front bar and the typhoon 1?
I'll post a pic of current height and tell me if you think its gonna be too low!

Thats just how it came, I had to find the rubber inserts from a car at u-pull-it though and get them stuck on and painted. Other people may just be getting that part filled in??

ahh yeh sweet as,

i wana keep the insert slots. any idea on the measurements?

got a reply from PCK $400 for front bar only for XH non XR, so happy with that, also got $370 quoted for full interior so i think ill be making a garage thread soon :D

Similar to your colour but just that bit darker, so ill go with the black around the fogs too.

When are you putting your Fog's in?

umm pass on the measurements lol. but width ways it flares out about an inch either side. vertically I think the bar is about 2 inches lower.

As for the lights, when I find some and make a bracket lol, could be a couple weeks or couple of months lol
