I thought the EF one was the chunkier one?

Not the best pictures to compare, but from what I can see they look the same apart from the EL (dark green) doesn't flare up as high on the wheel arch were the EF (blue) does.

In what way do the EL ones differ from the EF ones besides the height of the wheel arch flares?

Uglybob's right. The EL kit was definitely bulkier than the EF.

Yeah I fully relise the rest of the kit is, but i am solely looking at the front skirt.

And from what I can see they look identical bar from the EL one not flaring up as high at the wheel arch as the EF one. Which makes me think that the EF front skirt looks chunkier. So how is the EL front skirt chunkier than the EF one?

I've got the EF front bar skirt and EL rest of the kit, looks perfect together.
Reason why is from what I can see in the pictures I've looked at EF front bar always looks larger, I'm trying to find out why people say EL front skirt is.

Scott - the EL front lip doesn't 'rise' as much as the EF one - hard to explain...but like with the EL rear skirt and rear door bits, they are 'longer' and could perhaps be described as a bit more sleek / subtle ? I dunno - it's difficult to say exactly...to me, the EF and EL Tickford kits are so similar...when I see either on the road, the instant giveaway (that I look for) are the rear door parts.

My 2c !

so like i've been saying all along (since my first post) is the only different between the two front skirts are the EF rises higher when it flares up at the wheel archs, were the EL goes lower for longer.
Aside from that the rest of the front skirt is the same - i.e. the EL doens't pok out any further or anything.

As for the rest of the kit, personally I prefer the EL sideskirts and rear skirt, but I like the EF front skirt with it.

I've looked at the lip on my front bar and can't see any difference in the height on the wheel arch. Only thing I see is that it "might" be a little bit longer (less incline)... Gotta love the EL kit over the EF.

The EL front bar (and the whole kit for that matter) is much more defined than the EF one. The EF bar is big, but very smooth and flowing, whereas the EL is crisper and bulges (like comparing a flat stomach to a ripped six pack)
I personally prefer the EF one for sheer size, but ii think the EL bar jumps out more, gives the car a more technical, 'ripped' look (too many hours spent in the gym for me)
Not a big fan of the EL rear bar though.
