Can anyone tell me the difference between the EL XR6 and the GLI bonnets. From Ford the XR is double the price of the GLI???

EL XR bonnet is the the same as a EF GLi - Minus bonnet flute holes.
EL GLi is a different shape altogether.

Riteo cheers. The GLI bonnet is $380 and the XR is $800. Thats a big difference for a couple of flute holes i'd say.

But the holes arn't just cut in the XR bonnets, they are also pressed to make a tab so the vents fit cleaner. Just picked one up for $400new cos the box had a water stain on it.

picked up an el xr bonnet from the wreckers for 200 the other day. I was happy. prior to that i bought an ef gli bonnet new from ford for 270.
