Hey all
I am wanting to install a electric boot release into my EA falcon S1 , now i went today and got a new actuator for the boot from a EB-ED and it has a different style of connector to go to the barrel for the key and also different mounting points also a different hook at the bottom Would anyone have any tips who has done this in the past? Also regarding the next matter i want to install a EF/EL fuel lid , i just want to know what "electric" motor do i use in the vehicle the EF/EL one or the EB-ED ? Also fitting the fuel cap does much need to be done to get it to fit ? |

eb2 and ed have different style boot latch to ea...
if you want it to work just get the boot latch from an ea that has the electric boot release, my ea s pack had one std, ghias also have them... ef and el fuel door is not a direct fit as the hinges and latch position are different, again you use the fuel door solenoid from ea,eb,ed ect and if you find a el wagon fuel door this will be a direct fit.. not ef wagon as ef wagon is plastic like eb... also there is a high chance your car may have all the wireing for the boot and fuel door release... |

ok just thought more about it i am after the clean look as my old EF sedan had
I have looked in carsales site and the EL wagons aren't the one i am after i want a clean look

what do you mean??? late el wagon fuel door is a flush door like the sedan except it fits straight on..
