someone here suggested lidlok, which i've bought and installed.

Does the ute share any of the boot release components of the sedan, or is it a completely different loom? (ie are they in the ute but redundant and missing just the hardware)?

What i'd like to do is use a sedan fob with the boot release button for the tonneau cover. ideas and suggestions welcome. It currently has a button on the dash for open/lock.

I'm guessing this is the BF in your Gallery?
If so, have a read of this..

It's buried in there, but it covers EXACTLY what you are trying to do.
There is a PDF doco there by "aussieturtle", you'll have to sign up to be able to download it though.
