I'm repairing my motor and thought about tidying up the engine bay.
Years ago polish made my old car look like a new paint job, anyway this time around I have a lot of dry dirt everywhere which is difficult to remove (even with polish), it comes off really slowly and the wet look is there but with stains underneath it.

I used a brush and tar and bug remover to no avail,

Any other ways to get the k-frame shock towers looking good?

How do they get the engine bays for auction cars or at car yards to sparkle?

Car is factory black pearl J4

Will post a pic shortly.

The car has always been degreesed, I do that frequently, I have a gerni, oil and grease is not the problem, it is dry dirt in all the corners and surfaces that no matter what once the engine bay is dry it reappears.

I'll try kero.
