Hey everyone,

I'm new here as you can tell. I'm a Ford man, it runs in the family!

I will be getting my first car this weekend/Monday (coincidentally my 17th Birthday) which will be a White BA XT Wagon.

Any ideas as to what I can do it to personalise it a bit? I'm thinking lowering it and custom exhaust etc. I don't want it too low or for it to be really loud, I'm thinking just making it sound a little more throbby.

So really I am asking for brand ideas, and also price as well (roughly, not 100% accurate, just so I get an idea of how much I need to save!)

I am thinking of putting a K&N Air Filter in, they aren't too pricey. Good idea?

Thanks,

Tom

Ahhh ok, I'll start with the K&N then!

This will be hard to do, I am a drummer (hence the wagon) and my money will be split between drums and car!

I'll post pics when I get it.

Tom

rims..
lower..
de badge..
tinted windows..
typhoon intake..
pacemaker extractors..
2.5 inch cat back exhaust..

after all the above she will look great.. sound great and have a bit more go from the engine.. perhaps even a lil fuel benefit from the engine mods...

Fuel benefit is so true, however it is hinded by the human need to drive harder and faster! Even more so with a good tune.

Back on topic, I would go with Window tint, lowering - mainly just to stiffen up the ride a little otherwise you'll be bouncing all over the place, then get a good set of rims. That'll make it look tough as. As for exhaust, a 2.5 catback should do the trick.

There is a bloke floating around on here with a stock looking wagon that is running a typhoon engine (running gear too??) and it hammers! Cant remember his name tho...
