Good point. It is a f**k noisy fan now that you mention it. Bloody neighbours must think there is an ultralight plane taking off in the street every time I go out. lol.

I will keep in touch before the meet. Maybe we can catch up there and may buy from you if you don't mind bringing the fans along. only 10 sleeps to go!!!

Cheers! That would be great. Shouldn't be too hard to find you there. You also know what my beast looks like (the car not the missus lol) so will catch up with you then.

In all honesty, i think your Advanti 17's look larger in the full chrome, than Moosy's Advanti 18's with black spokes.

Both look ok though....

Cheers FF,

Mooseman's being a bit of a snob about the whole thing actually. Commented on how good his car looks with the black volt, showed him what mine looks like with the chrome and nothing. No response. Now he is bagging the bloke I bought the wheels from. He actually provided an excellent service. Threw in a full set of chrome nuts, lock nuts and tyres were all fitted and balanced. I am actually quite impressed with the tyres. They are a unique design in that the side wall has an extended lip which actually protects the rims from gutter rash. You couldn't damage the side of the rims if you tried.
You probably could get the wheels from other local dealers if you are interested in a set, but I got mine through ebay and the whole thing went smooth as. Only took 2 days to arrive from Vic and I fitted them myself in under 1/2 hour.

Great buy. ROH are a top wheel. Had my eye on a set of ROH chicanes at one stage but decided that they wouldn't really suit the big fairlane. Mainly decided on chrome because of the LTD grille. They make a good match. Also, I like to be a bit different and another reason I went with the Advanti Volt's is that nobody else has them (yet) because they aren't officially released in Australia until December. They don't even appear in Advantis 07/08 Catalogue. Just in the right place at the right time I guess!

Did you do a wheel alignment after going to 17's from 15's?

Cause my car veers left now (more than what it did)

It is advisable to do a wheel alignment after going up in size. Im not liking the ride at the moment, ride is harsh, and theres no 'give' in the steering anymore...

No. Car is driving great. I had a slight shudder under brakes with the stockies on but that is gone now. I had my mate (a mechanic) go over the car yesterday, just to give it a once over and all is good. Thought I might have to get a wheel allignment after they were fitted but will see how it goes.
Previous owner has installed Pedders suspension in the front end and mate said that it is not that old. I just have to replace the Self Leveling Suspension in the rear now as the air boots in the shocks have split and it won't lift. Too pricey to fix, I will just replace rear shocks and springs.

See! Remember Now. . Not a big deal if you don't have any left. I have read other posts where you mention that you get them in all the time. I will just have to wait for the next one.
