My EB Tail lights and Falcon S boot garnish arrived in the mail today :) and i was eager to fit them, only to realise that EA tail lights have 3 mounting screws, EB's have 4, and the plugs are different :(

so...... how the hell do you put them on lol, i understand a different loom is needed? And maybe a bit of drilling for the EB mounting screws.

so yeah, any help would be appreciated lol.

cheers guys.

ok so i see the boot lid may be different, but how does one go about modifying where the tail lights go?

ouch
i once got stuck like you have.
but you can get them to fit.
the tail lights do fit but un fortunatly you have to make a bracket or weld a bit of metal so the nuts on the outer side of the light has something to bolt to..
and the garnish is a bit harder .
you need to cut holes in the boot lid for the reverse light globes to fit through .. and you need to drill holes in the back of the boot lid for the mounting screws of the garnish there is a few that lign up but there is 2 or 3 that need to be drilled..

when i went to do mine i also didnt realise that ea series 1 was slightly different to ea 2 and eb. its almost like ford already planed to change the tail lights before the eb ..
but i wasnt going to let it beat me. im a little stubborn when it comes to stuff like that so i find ways around it..
once its all done you cant tell the difference.

otherwise you will have to change your boot lid to a eb one...
