While looking at mum and dads second ED falcon (yes, even my parents have 2 falcons!) to see how I fix the broken mirror on one, I broke the second one!!

I've heard that you need to replace the whole thing, but not sure if that applies here - the plastics and glass are all ok, it seems to be the spring and small metal piece the spring latches onto, that holds the mirror to the base and lets it flex - its pulled out into the main body of the mirror - I took them apart as much as I can and know exactly whats wrong, I just can't get in to try and fix it. Is it possible or do I still need to replace them?

I've put a wanted ad on here but thought I'd ask, just in case.

Thanks.
