Yeah i had a full custom built sound system in the XF and did all the work myself. Cost me an absolute s**t but it sounded great in the end. Too bad the rest of the car wasnt as flash :(

But yeah i did the front and back doors then the parcel shelf was done also as it was a custom built shelf and then the boot.

LOL you couldnt hear a thing from outside the car!! Music sounded awesome. :) As for the boot seals, well if they look like they need replacing then it wouldnt hurt, but if not then dont bother. :P

No unfortunately i dont have any pics of my XF, only ones i took of it were with a disposable camera.. :( but yeah it looked like a 4wd basically, but it was that sexy colour MONZA RED!!! ahh loved it. Had a full pimp interior lol. All black suede (spelling) sports steering wheel (very nice looking one too) and sports pedals etc. Even a blue neon inside

Was a pretty nice looking car but mechaniclly it was a nightmare sometimes... most of the time :(

But yeah good luck with it all. Glad to help :D

silicon works really well just run it around the boot lid frame because the boot usually rattles because the factory glue has fallen out thats what i did

hmm, silicon seems to be a good rattle stopper, i'll did into that before spraying, the boot lid rattles also in general driving, but now that i'm armed with the info i need, i can hook into sound proofing too.

nobbin two birds with one conny :P
