Yeah the bottom section is that much!!!

That ebay stuff bolts over the top of the existing grille work and restricts the airflow...

Me still say Pm Jet Ute, he got a Typhoon one for my mate good price too!

only the top section bolts over the exising mesh, and its mesh, Excuse me for bluntness, But how the f**k is mesh goin to restrict airflow. if your worried get 2 deflection plates behind the grill similar to what comes with the ss induction kit. . and the lower mesh you have to screw into place, Ive got it on mine in black, there is nothing to bolt over.

Mesh = lots of holes for air, not restricting 2 tenths of f**k all

If you want genuine mesh from FPV, be prepared to bleed. the GT-P (shadow chrome) mesh in the rear bar, a tiny bit, is over $700. Dunno how much either of the front bar bits would costs. More undoubtedly.

Also as above, they won't fit an XR properly anyway, the bars are difference shapes.

my bad about the bottom.

As for the top, I think you're bluntness is your downfall. The aftermarket grille bolts over the top, in which the slotted spacings are alligned differently to the standard slottings in the grille. Therefore there is a tendency for a greater restriction in the overall grille as there is a restriction for the air to pass thru... its pretty simple logic, a grille over a grille with misalligned slotted spaces reduces flow..

My bluntness was due to having a s**t day at work, but still it 2 tenths of f**k all. Get a set of deflection plates made up for behind the grill and you wont notice anything.
