G'day,
I want to upgrade my headlight globes, and was wondering what people are using.. im not to concerned about the way they look, but i want better light.. im sick of the EA Candles... i put some cheapo blues in it once, and they were worse than standard, it was about as good as a AA torch...

What Globes are you using?? which do you consider the best??
i dont want to go and spend 60 or 70 bucks on globes to find they are as good as my current narvas...

Thanks!
David

ive been advised against the higher wattage globes, because of the plastic reflectors, ive been told the heat makes the silver flake off... like alot of the older XFs and stuff...

yeah the only phillips ones that are road legal are the blue visions, and u will find that they put out more light than the crystal visions, they just dont look as blue. i have had blue visions in my EF and BA and highly recommend them.
even the phillips vision plus are good to. :)

The packed I had didn't say that, I found out after that they are illegal.. I don't think I'll get done with s**t EF Headlights..

I test the Crystal Vision ... then the Blue vision .. side by side with the Narva Plus50s ... the Narvas were more of a yellow light (due to lower Kelvin rating - colour temperature) ... but their beam was the brightest at the time ... so I stuck with them.

I think the Osram globes are pretty much the same.

I use PIAA Ion Crystal (yellow) globes in my fog lights as well ... but they are damn expensive ... but work wonders in fog. I haven't tried their other globe range though ... but they are expensive.
