hey is there any other fordmods ppl interest in this. i am wanting to make a full fiberglass bonnet for ea to ed with the BA bonnet bulge.

i am just wanting to no if any of you are interested getting one of these made up for your ea to ed and mabe to el ef as well.

id add another 0 to the end of that.. fibreglass alone would be 4-500 possibly more

i want a clear perspex one made up for those shows or cruising in the street legally

that's crazy.
there's no way it could ever be engineered, if you crashed your insrance company could cancel your payout, plus the fibreglss exploding on impact wouldn't be pretty...

no i was going to make it a mix of stuff and also i was thinking of leveing the botem of the bonnet there to give more tuff.

and also i have been look at making them out of perspex and some outher stuff also.

and this was just to see if some of you would want one of them if i was to make them

yeh i no but i no a guy that can get me some for a good price and the price that i put up there was just a small figer.

i have done the maths and i can get them done for about 750 to 900

also i am in the proses of desing a new kit for the EA to ED modeld after the BA BF F6

awc do them on their au/ba/bf bulge bonnets and apparently they're legal.

make me a carbon fibre bonnet for my EF, with the bulge. some yobo quoted me 2,500 locally!
AWC won't as they reckon there developing costs will be 20,000 or something like that.

i've already done it.full fibreglass bonnet with bulge.but they are separate and where joined together later.
i will be joining a fibreglass bulge to a steel bonnet in the new year to take a full mould off but i just don't have the time athe moment.
also be warned making the inner of the bonnet is quite easy but getting the bonnet catch to work is a b**ch.
that $2500 for the carbon fibre ef bonnet is a very good price considering the work involved.
the full fibreglass ed bonnet would be approx $650.00 complete.

i'm talking ED but i've seen your bonnet and i would be more than happy to take a mould of it (i think that there would be a market for them) but the distance is a problem.lol.

i would be interested in a bonnet, but could you mould some reversed cosworth vents into it as well. also would love to know a price for the boddy kit, i have been thinking of getting the ssv xt typhoon kit and modding it to suit

yeah it could be done and the kit would be around $1000 but can do a good price on it if more ppl what it
