Hello im changing my globes in my ef xr6. shouldbi change to hids or une white bulbs? Im worried about melting thevlense with the hids can anyone help me out

HID's for sure. Well proven by many users on here. I've ran them in EB, EF, AU and on my motorbikes.

They are more efficient, use less power and generate less heat.

HID's

That said has anyone run them in the hi-beams of the ed-el xr6 headlamps? i have them in the low beams and it makes the hi-beams useless lol

Yep, I used them in my AULTD, EDXR6 and EFXR6 low and high beam. Besides the few seconds it takes to get to full power, it's great.

No Brainer , bite the bullet spend the money and get HID's . Have them in all my vehicles now , once you change you willl never go back to ordinary bulbs again .

heard they are no good in an ef gli/futura lense without modification, did you mod the lense?

without the reflector style lens they aren't perfect. They should be adjusted down a little bit. In any case, still far better than the standard globes.

im definatly looking into getting them for both my high beam and low beam. my mate has 6000k in his ef xr and they are really bright.i might go the same as his.they look way better too then the original globes.ive got the white helogen xenon ones in mine and they look yellow compared to my mates.any one recomend any from ebay?

hids kits are cheap as on ebay, ive brought a few different bulbs on ebay and they have worked fine, high beams are pointless lol

im looking into also converting my high beams to hid
