hey guys, tried searching for it, but couldnt find anything on it.

one of the fog lights on my XR6 has gone out, its a 2003 BA. I've tried getting my hand behind it to get the bulb etc but havent had any luck, is there anyone that has done this and found an easier way to get in there, i can't get to anything in there...

Also does anyone know what type of globe needs to be put in there? i've lost my owners manual.

Thanks in advance for any comments to help me out, because i'm very lost

Undo the bolts holding the splash tray to the front back and push the foglight towards the back of the car and remove the whole assembly.. bit fiddly but only takes a few minutes.

Sometimes not the easiet of lights to remove as well. My Territory ones are a right pain to remove ... so I let Ford do it under warranty ... hee hee

territory ones are very very stiff. You should try getting the blanks out when your fitting the fog lamp kit

there isnt a trick for the blanking plates, i've found a screwdriver thru the middle used as a lever to pop them out sounds like a good plan... But be careful of scratching the paint...
if u actualy look at the fog lamp itself you can see what holds it on, and when uve seen it its easy to get em out

I'll have to have a closer look. After I get the fog light covers off as well (an add extra pain ... but worth the money when it comes to protection though).

I just hate taking the bottom splash tray off .... as I have a nudge bar in place and it makes it even more of a pain.

My mates BA XR6t light was broken and the ford manual said to take the bumper off. Stupid i think. He doesnt have to worry about it anymore seeing as his wife crashed it. They should fit it for him.
