How do I fix this annoying problem? I've taken the whole thing apart and put it all back together and it was ok for a while, but now one of the lights goes off every now and then. What's the best way to fix this permanently?

yeah.. wires are good.. connections look good. I think it's just after a little vibration from driving it turns off occassionly and u have to give it a little tap to turn it back on.
Guess I'm just after a way to stop the vibration from turning the light off

Yeah, but not thoroughly.
I'm thinking of just replacing the contacts and re-crimping the wires etc

The bulb holders are the same type as the autoquadrant light or footwell lights, so if you're sure the wiring isn't an issue, cut the wires and splice in a replacement from the wreckers or whatever.
