hey all i finally decided to stop f**k arsing round with the ed as the prick had problem after problem, so me and my partner went on the hunt for a new car...... wanted a a ford 95-98 had to be 5L and good nic

so we ended up with a 95 ef xr8, its a 5spd, we are the 3rd owner, the one before us was a female who drove it too school and homee, still had original tape deck, bit of a shock but its coming out this weekend, the only mods on the car are full zorst and a chip, going to get it dynoed and tuned in a couple weeks, i dont know wat power to expect oh and the car has 202xxx on the clock, interior is in good nic, typical roof lining sagging, going to put my rear shockies and springs in it, mags and stereo, and does anyone know if ed fornt suspension will fit a ef, will be getting more pics this weekend.

ED fronts will fit IF thecar had ABS, the EF onwards struts are thicker though, so unless you got something pretty flash already, you may wanna look at new struts. just need to check the part numbers for compatability, I am unsure if the pulse sensor position in the ol' boxcar was the same position as the later E series though. I have heard of them being the same. (position that is) the previous car being an ED Fairy.. had ABS right?

BTW good looking car, good find for one in a manual too.

If the ED was a V8 you can use the springs. They are different between the sixes and eights because of the engine weight.

Looks nice. Good luck with the future mods.

Oh yeah good point Ben, different shocks for 6's and 8's. even more so between the ED to EF series.

is your pedal box bent? The clutch pedal looks to be on a pretty weird angle.
