Does anyone knwo how much a set of keys for an EFII would set me back? i only got one set when i bought the car and i want another set for the missus.

umm, from memory i think the blank was like 12 bucks and to cut it another 20 or 30. i remember it being a pain int he a** too. had to take the key to a specialist locksmith coz no one else would touch cutting it coz apparantly they are easy to f**k up then they get stuck in the ignition.

i thought most keys fitted others... all you gotta do is program them.
to do that, stick the keys in, put ignition to on... and leave it there for like 40 mins until the smartlock light stops flashing rapidly

ummm u mean the keypad or the actual keys...?

the key..

keypad can be programmed by pressing demister couple times n f**k around like that.......


i could be wrong... but i just assumed the falcon keys were all same, just prgrammed differently

no way can u just stick any old key in and expect it to work... that means i could steal ur car using my keys...

yeh but you would have to program your keypad to unlock it
and program your keys to start it....

1 hour later, and your still waiting for everything to finish.... i find the old cricket bat i stole from the primary school near my house and smack ya over the head

i programmed mine when i changed the bmi? bem? what ever that module thingy is called that goes about your left knee

no idea....
if you get one cut it shouldnt work straight away

the bem will still need to recognise the key and get programed

are you talking about a funny looking key?
that is kinda round n s**t

or are you talking about a key that like other cars have? (normal key)
