my drivers side mirror has the shakes, is it possible to pull the mirror apart, I have anthrer set (thr wrong colour) that I can rob for part or even change the actual mirror, if I can figure out how to dissassamble it all.

You can dismantle the mirror... i.e. remove the mirror from the casing... but you usually break something in the process. Has your car been clipped? That's what caused my mirror to get the shakes.

All I did was lever the glass out as gently as possible and then use a crap load of Araldite to glue it back in nice and firm.

I've also got the mirror shakes, but mine is from bass overload on the rear view mrror. I found out it was the glass rattling because it wasn't glued in properly. I cut a paperclip to be about 3mm long and wedged it under the glass.. but it keeps falling out. Anyone got any better ideas?
