Go with GlennBA! I originally wanted something like his, twin 3" S/S tip, but the guy at the exhaust place thought otherwise

I am kind getting sick of seeing quads now on B-series ... yeah they look good in some cases with the right tips (SV-Z Monaro tips are very nice for this ... hate to say it ... but Holden put nice tips on them). But if not putting a GT rear bar on your car Glenn ... I think a dumper tip ... one each side would look the goods .... with it "barely" shoowing from under the bumper ... pretty much all hidden.

You should've told him to bugger off.. its your car man. The exhaust shop wanted to put a BA XR6 tip on my AU and i said no effing way.. Its got a BA SR bodykit, so the exhaust hole is quite rounded. I don't think twin tips would suit it very well so this is why i thought a 4" dumper either side. Anyone want to chop it?

straight 6 sound like a v8? not going to happen...
but a 2.5" system with straight thru muffler and no resonator will get you as good as your gonna get!

Mines got a angle cut circle tip, probs 3 inches, 3.5 inches diameter. I think it needs a big oval sucker asap. |
