they don't make the bonnet bulge for that type of bonnet yet scotchbo. They're gonna start making them towards the end of the year. At this stage they only make the AU bulge bonnets for the low series bonnet. (series 1 forte, futura, series 1/2/3 XR's and series 1/2/3 utes.) The high series bonnet is different. (series 1 fairmont, series 2/3 forte, futura, fairmont, all T series.)

Glen - excellent AU II forte you've got. If only they were like that in standard form or at least like the SR, may have sold more

Bucky - great to see you here, are you still coming to SA?

Must get some new shots of my AU as well
Nice fr bar too,

Looks like you've done well with the black paint, did you take it to injektd to get it detailed and if so what was the entire process.

Take care

Thanks

The plan is still to vist SA. Leaves not approved yet for October / November, so might consider a trip down Boxing day for a few days. You guys usually have any crusies organised over the break. Really keen to join if you do.

Anyway, don't plan anything yet, i have to confirm the chrissy trip to see if its a goer. Looking at the Calendar it is. I guess at this stage it would be too hit Adelade on Boxing Day, departing on the 1st for home. Thats the plan

Mate I'm sure we could just have one anyway since your coming. We'll work out something

I'd like this kind of thing to be a fairly regular thing, accommodating interstate ford modders/AFF members and going cruising during their stay

Enjoy it immensly

in my signature the rims and suspension are actually photoshopped on  but as soon as i can scrape together the funds to do it, i'll put the TS50/XR8 rebel speedlines on and some superlows. It should be nice going off those pictures.

Bucky, i love your AU! its the best au XR6 i've ever seen
(besides dans  )

Thanks Glenn. Dans car was the inspiration behind my body kit. Once I saw his car, i was convinced the AU had room for some changes. Worst thing is, i have moe and more changes planned. DOH

I checked the leave for Christmas time and we have shut down for a week over christmas, so there should be nothing holding us back.

Will definatley love to do that cruise. With my folks in Adelaide same time we can leave the young bloke with them and have sometime to ourselves. Nothiing I'd like more than a cruise with the guys and gals from SA.

Awesome bucky - I'll speak with most of the SA guys and see what they think
We could cruise and then go back to Jaq & Eamon's place or someone elses joint and party on

Be nice to have a killer AU over here, I'm one of only three who have AU XR's that attend our meets regularly, normally I'm surrounded with E series cars, not that it's a bad thing

Cheers
Matt

Time to post a few new pics. Some changes this time round are just wheels. I've gone to 19" Rodney Jane Blads.

Anyway, some update photo's of the car
