Can anyone tell me if this is a genuine factory bodykit on the Fairmont Ghia. I was told it was put on as factory option. I found under the boot spoiler a stamp "talon"

Whats the deal guys??

That's what looks like an immitation 'sprint' body kit with a different boot spoiler.

Is that a two piece skirt on the passenger side?? If not, what is the line under the door?

The original boot spoiler for that kit had a raised spoiler with a support in the middle of the spoiler. IMO the one on your car looks a little better.

The sprint kit was the best looking kit for box cars IMO!

I'm pretty sure the genuine kit was a one piece skirt....... but don't quote me....

Have a look at some photo's of some genuine ones and see if you can see a join?

The wing's definitely aftermarket. If the skirts are plastic, it's genuine. If fibreglass, aftermarket.
Cheers, Bob
