I was quoted $700 by the same spray guy to repair, spray and fit the XR kit. This price may not hold true for some aftermarket kits as their finish and fitment is not as good or easy as the genuine article. Yep Amber, you got it... Just Falcon's indeed. Quality dudes that have supplied cheap, quality parts for my past 3 cars. They got a bit of a shock when they realised the kit was genuine tho!!  But he stuck true to his original quote and now I'm a happy man!!!

 Or at least the parts do...
The car was going to go in first, but they found (?) another dint that had to be removed so they filled the spray booth with all the parts and pieces that come off... Front Bumper/Spoiler Rear Bar/Skirt Side-Skirts Door Pods Door Handles Grille I'm stoked!!  They look awesome!! The colour changes from a really deep, dark burgundy to a sparkling shade of red depending on the angle you look at it and the light...

HAHAHA... I think ef302 would flip if he got back to his car and found you lockjawed onto it. I wonder if any panelbeater has ever had to get bite marks out of a car before?? But yeah that colour is mad. Really deep colour. That guy looks like he does a good job, and its making me want to get the fairmont resprayed...  damn you!!

how much is it just for the paint?
i didnt quite get that from glancing for $ signs. im thinking of giving my car a few costs over (not full engine out etc, just same black over it to get all scratches and filth off it) im looking around but havent got funds for it *yet*
