This is my car at the moment except i bought 5 mint BA GT rims for $800 off ebay that im gonna put on
Id like it to look like the car i designed but i dont think theres much of a chance coz it will cost a lot of money which i dont have :?

at the moment ive started working on my interior more
im thinking of going similar to the DJR style in the DJR 320... black and gold or orange... something like that...

also prob a monster tacho on the left of the dash next to the middle vents area... black face with gold cup??

so what you guys think???

Looks nice atm dude!
Nah don't get a Monster Tacho! Just get a Shift Light by itself if you need or want one.
Much more subtle and probable wont induce some idiots trying to break in and steal the Tacho. Plus you would already have one in the car in the cluster.

The pic with the GT 18's looks pretty cool!

that was the whole point why i never thought of getting a tacho... coz i already have 1 on my cluster
it was just for visual purposes... but the shift light idea doesnt sound too bad

whats ur opinion on the interior??
go black leather with gold stiching and few gold bits here n there?
coz i love the look of the DJR interior

really all thats stopping me (and many others guys out there) is sum of that green stuff that hopefully will grow on a tree in my back yard 1 day

I reckon Black or Grey Leather with Gold stitching would suit the car.

Yeah a tacho in my opinion is a bit of waste of time, no need for it, cause you already have one, waste of money, cause you don't really need it, that could be worth 2 tyres for your new rims, in other words, your money could be better spent elsewhere. As myself and chunkz said, it really does attract the wrong sort of attention.
I'm sure your car would attract a lot of attention with the way it looks, but you don't want people smashing windows and so o to get at a tacho you have no need or use for, really.

Tinted Windows might also help, if you're gonna spend some $$$$ on anything on the interior of your car.
It'll keep prying eyes away.

Uhm,

"Modify YOUR car the way YOU want... Not the way your friends tell you..."

If you want a monster tacho, get one, but, ugh, theyre just over the top, plus, can your I6 or V8 do 12000rpm? If so, then by all means get one.

My mate had a boost guage on his cordia, lasted 2 weeks, if that... make sure its bolted down, with its own 5 man security team.

parents fairmont has done round the 200,000
cant remember exactly
its that sorta burgandy colour with cream/beige interior
air con, heater, cruise, electrics... everything works
my parents only bought it last year but now my mum got a company car so we're getting rid of the 97 fairmont and the 94 statesman

bout the tacho subject.... GET OFF IT
i never said i WAS getting 1... i only looked at 1 last week and it didnt have 12,000 it went as far as 8,000 other wise i wouldnt even consider 1... wats the point of having a tacho when the needle doesnt even reach half way if your pushing it
but anyway i like the sleekness of the interior and i like the existing tacho in the dash so NO TACHO
every1 can smile now

How much did that interior cost ya?
Not that I'd be looking at that color but something along those lines. Also, who did it for you?
