Hey fellow modders, I just wanted to share my new car. Do I have XR8 rims on them? not to sure. Also what are some cheap and effective mods, under the bonnet and exterior i could do? let me know what you's think.

Cheers.

They are BA MKII XR standard 17 inch wheels. I actually like that wheel model. XR8 usually had the bigger slightly different 18 inch wheel on them especially in the BA 2.

Ok lets start with some mods.
Here is some information for you to research for yourself.

Exterior-wise:
A lot of people go out and get big wheels, slam it and bodykit it. If you are like me and most others on this forum, you will have some nice taste  .
What comes up looking good on these cars:
- Force 6/8 chrome mirrors
- Fairymont chrome grill/bonnet piece
- Fairymont chrome rear garnish
- BF rear tailights (same as BA but with LEDs in the brake light)
- Lowered with a nice spring/shock combo (people have found KONI to be some of the better shocks)
- Fairmont headlights (the black ones, may not be fairmont)
- XR conversion (this becomes pricey and a bit of a wank IMO. if you want an xr, buy an xr)
You will probably find a heap of other bits and pieces that look great on the outside on this forum too.

Interior-wise:
This can get expensive quick so be sure to browse the forums/wreckers/fleabay/gumtree etc.
- Piano black ICC and interior (available from a BF ghia)
- Colour ICC (premo sound)
- Dual/single zone climate control (dual zone will require a bit of work)
- Fairmont seats/trims (IMO cappucino/beige is SEX!)
- Sunroof (if you have a spare 1-2k)
- Chrome door handles (possibly iluminated)
- Footwell lighting
- Push button start
- Ghia clock (above ICC)
- The usual audio mods (details available elsewhere on the forum)

Engine-wise:
Now this is where you can watch your bank account disappear
- If its an auto, you may want to have a look at chucking a manual in
- The usual (exhaust, cat, extractors, intake, tune)-this info can all be found by doing a search
- If you want to push this motor to another level, have a look at trav199 and ENVIXR build threads (both over 200rwkw N/A)

Theres a million more things you can do, but that should give you an idea and something to look into.
