One other thing those bumpers, are they a smooth gloss or are they that raw motley plastic texture??? Might make a difference how things go down.. On the colour issue it depends if your using aerosol cans or a spraygun and compressor. With cans you get the original color and if the cars faded badly it probably will look a bit odd. But if using a spraygun then most auto paint stores can colour match some paint to suit..

My car is faded ALOT, i bought some of my paint (or what i think it is/was) and its so dark compared! But aparantly there is this place where they take a look at the colour thru some kind of colour scope! This can tell the colour! I dunno if this is true, sounds a bit technical to me.
Then ill get a litre (is that enough) then i will *borrow* my bros airbrush. My bumper is rough grey, not glossy at all. I saw a painted grey bumper before, tho the pain was flaking off!

i got my grey bumpers painted by my dads mate and they are fine not flaking. we used plastic primer as well

two tone hey? I saw an EA with the body painted grey along the side up to the same height as the bumpers go. I think that looks ok too.
Would it be easier to paint bumpers that are already coloured. say if I get some coloured bumpers from the wreckers to paint them instead of grey bumpers?

if they're genuine coloured ones from factory, then i'd imagine they would be, as they've already been primed & designed to be painted, as opposed to the grey ones, which have had a different finish put on them, which might be the reason so many of the bumpers flake when painted...
