Yeah getting the arctic blue globes this arvo sometime, hopefully i can have the patience to install them myself. Last time i tried i got pretty p****d off pretty quickly lol, frigen couldnt reach ne thing!

OH man this fkn sucks!!! I got the globes, they arent arctic blues but i got ones better than that for driving at night which are the vision plus ones or something
Ne way had a go at it this arvo and well F*** me i couldnt even get the old ones off!!! Grrrr i tried everything, even swore at em a couple of times and they still wouldnt come off the little metal clip thingy. 
How do you get em off? they seem like they are on thier pretty dont and i dont want to use too much force incase i break something. Ne tips, hints or ideas? Also i think im gonna find it hard not to touch the globe either  Grrr just trying to get the old ones off i can imagine what its gonna be like getin the onther one on.

I had NARVA All Weather Globes in my EL for 2 years before one of the Bulbs blew a couple of weeks ago. Though they were Fantastic in foggy Conditions, I couldn't see jack in normal night conditions

Do the XR's have the black cap covering them andthen the wire holding the globe in place?

Yeah the Xrs have the black cap then the wire with the clip on em to hold the globe!!! Grrr i could not get it too move one bit HTF did the electrician do it nine months ago lol!
Has ne one got ne suggestions on how to takle this problem without going to the stupid electrician again.. Thanks

Cant now its too dark, but its basically the same. I dont have a problem with changing them its just i cant get the old globes off! The clip that joins them is fricken impossible to dissconnect!

You push it in towards the globe then out to the side, repeat for the wire runnning parallel. Then on the other side it's hinged and with swing up, swap golobes and oposite to do back up. |

I replaced my standard globes for Phillips 'Blue Vision' (4000K - apparently the highest legal according to the instore display). Went both lows and highs, both set's came with blue parkers too. VERY happy with them.
As for installation, have a few tissues on hand just stops you accidentally touching them. BTW: Had mine in for 6 months now (early November) still going strong.

Hmm that sounds kinda suss lol.
I should be right, once i disconnect the old globes it should be easy as, i worked out i have to remove my battery as well. damn it.

Oh crap, perfect weather yesterday and today its s**t, bloody rain!!! I dont have a shed either!!! Grrr this sucks, hate workin on my car in the rain.
