I had NARVA All Weather Globes in my EL for 2 years before one of the Bulbs blew a couple of weeks ago. Though they were Fantastic in foggy Conditions, I couldn't see jack in normal night conditions

Hey guys just got a quick question,

Has ne one here got much experience in using the Narva Artic Blue halogen lights? Its just i bought a set for my XR about 9 months ago and they would always work fine.

But the other night one of them blew, then this mornin on the way to work the other one blew, lol so i now have no headlights gggrrr. And the globes only lasted about 9 months give or take.

Whats up with that, surely most globes last longer than that.....Ne way what are your thoughts on this and do you reccommend ne other type of globes.

Thanks help would be appreciated. :)
I had the same problem and went to the plus 30s.
18 months later and still going.
Yes they are a b**ch to change too.

You push it in towards the globe then out to the side, repeat for the wire runnning parallel. Then on the other side it's hinged and with swing up, swap golobes and oposite to do back up.

I replaced my standard globes for Phillips 'Blue Vision' (4000K - apparently the highest legal according to the instore display). Went both lows and highs, both set's came with blue parkers too. VERY happy with them.

As for installation, have a few tissues on hand just stops you accidentally touching them.

BTW: Had mine in for 6 months now (early November) still going strong.
