Hi guys,

Just joined up and thought i would say hi to all.

I currently own a BA XR6 Turbo and recently bought a EL Gli that I would like to look like my EL XR6 Tickford that I used to own.

Now, I firstly would like to get rid of the gli front bar and get a el xr6 front bar as they look heaps better. The question is, besides getting the actual front bar, lights, indicators and a bonnet, is there anything else required or that needs changing in order to fit the gear?

I will post up pics of both rides in a few days...

cheers.

The GLi Bonnet will fit. So with the headlights, indicators and front bar thats it, allows you more time to find an original XR Bonnet.

You WILL need a new bonnet, the EL GLI bonnet does NOT suit the XR front. An EF GLI bonnet will suit though

Yeah your right, I did not notice he said he had a EL because SWC already said his bonnet will fit. But yes only EF gli and EF futura bonnets will suit the XR Bars on the exception of a XR bonnet, but they are just a gli bonnet with vents anyway :)

Yes sorry, I didn't pick up on the EL, EF bonnet will fit not EL, Still EF bonnet is a lot cheaper and easier to get than a XR Bonnet.

if you position them right and cut the holes yourself it's a lot cheaper!

Thx for the reply's and warm welcome.

I should have the conversion done in the coming weeks, (cant wait) and will post up pics when ready.
I actually traded in my heritage green el xr6 that i used to own for my ba xr6 turbo (about 6 years ago now) and given that im not used to a gli look gives me more reason to under go these mods...lol

cheers.
