I wouldn't use it, not because of the legalities, but mainly because if you have a crash you'll probably screw your insurance.

if you want it on your headlights, how about tinting a set of headlight protectors so you can take them off when it gets dark?

ive done mine in s.a. but i only slightly tinted them. they look similar to newer cars with the black backing ... at a glance anyway ... the key is to layer the coats very thin and build it up slowly letting each coat dry. the good thing with a plastic front lens is you can wetrub and polish up to get it off.

i think i got mine at a sprint but they had it behind a counter

Agreed, the insurance companies will tear you a new a**hole and void your insurance if the pick up on it when you make a claim

Ive thought about rear ending a car with darkened tail lights, 1, to teach the a**hole a lesson about making his brake lights invisible, 2, insurance claim!!.

But knowing my luck, even if the tail lights are too dark to see, ill still be up s**t creek with a huge excess and no car.
