Hi all,
I've been searching for an old thread - I think possibly over 3 years old. I thought it was by EFFalcon, but now I think about it could also have been another user who's name escapes me (white EF/L fairmont, typhoon bar, big wheels, very clean). Anyway, the thread was on making custom bars: - front was a half half (top E series/bottom B series) - the rear (one I am interested in reading about) I thought required the B series bar to be cut into little strips and essentially stuck over the top of the E series bar. Anyone remember the thread/who it was by? Thanks

fordfreak_ef did a BA GT front bar.
mine was a BA XT/Ghia front bar, XR Rear bar. SWC has done a few different things along the same lines.

I thought I remembered reading about someone cutting it into multiple pieces and essentially laying it over the E series bar (I believe the reason was E series being really straight across the back). What Bar to you want to fit to what? What model car EB/ED or EF/EL?
At this point in time I have done the following; AU TS50 to EF Fairmont Front BA XR to EB Front BA XR Special to ED Front In process BF Typhoon to EB Front BA XR to EF Sedan Rear In process Typhoon Rear to EL Wagon Rear. Few other bits and pieces. If you want BF Typhoon to EF/EL front - use Newgel also they to a high quality rear Tyhoon Bar for the EF/EL. |

I was thinking a Supra bar...
 Nah, it isn't a falcon bar though. I'll put up pictures when I actually start playing; at this point a bit premature...really I just don't want to look like a s**t if it doesn't work lol

I did my rear bar twice. first time i overlayed the BA section where the mould strip goes, trimmed the excess in the wheel arch and was done, no strips as you're suggesting. second time i attached the mounting section for the BA lower lip to the EF bar, but again, no major cutting of bars, the shape was close enough. You might be thinking of some work that involved fitting something to a wagon?
