Can anyone tell me did the EL Saphire wagon come out with a Mont front & what were the other saphire options ??

yeah the link works fine

either someone has fitted a fairmont front on it some stage or it may have been a special order from the factory

one thing im a bit worried about, the AU was released in September 98, my AU is an August 98 build, this EL is a September 98 build....

No it didnt come out with a mont front and ford would have never fitted it as a special order cos that not the way ford works . I feel the car is a bitsa as it dosent have passanger airbag which was standard in the late El saphires and the front isnt a standard front it a mont front

Why not contact ford and quote chassis/engine number and collect all details you can.

The date on eBay must be wrong, I mean Manufactured Sep, registered 9th Sep... a bit close, even if the ford were on the ball that month.
