Hai guys,
Bought a RHS Fairlane cornering lamp today, screwed it in, but haven't plugged it in as yet. When I do get the LHS one I'll be off to an auto electrician to have it hooked up. Anywho, was wondering how other EF/EL Fairmont owners have their Fairlane/LTD cornering lamps hooked up? I'd like to have it on when ever I have the normal lamps on (that setting just before high beam, the standard one, not the parkers). Is this legal in Queensland and Australia, and is it the best setup to have?

O, and on the receipt it says my RHS one came from a NL Fairlane, were the NF, DF, DL cornering lamps all the same? Just need to know when I get my LHS one. Thanks in advance.

Wire them up to your Parkers and add a extra switch to turn them off. This way you can run them with or without your low beam headlights. As they are only a low wattage light, 21watt?? You should have no trouble with the law.

Best to buy another NL/NF for the LHS just to be sure.

they are all the same, just run them off your parkers and put a switch in if ur worried about them however as said they arent bright, so wont get u in trouble.

Ive had mine on for ages now, even on the old fairlane; no issues.

Okay, thanks guys. Any idea on how much an auto electrician would charge to set it all up?
