I'm wanting to spray a thin coat of paint over an intercooler on my BA. Does anyone think this would effect it's cooling ability? It will only be 1 or 2 coats, just enough that it stands out from a distance.

it may cause it to hold its heat a bit more, that would be my guess!

have seen them painted with that chrome in a can, is that what u r thinking of doing??
shouldnt hurt it to much, just dont put it on real thick :)

ford paint them from factory.. i don't see how it could hurt much. If you want to be be heaps cautious you could always remove the old paint first.
