I have painted mine few times, and it bubbled once, fixed that by putting high temp undercoat, then when working in car it got scratched up, re did it and now im just sick of it lol - pics can be seen of it in my pics, but i am in the middle of trying something new with it, want it to look like polished aluminum..
Anyone got any pics of them?

I dont see how it makes it any hotter really, its light as, made of aluminium and after a real hard drive it only just warms up, dunno where everyone thinks they get that hot..
Altho the can heat up after a long drive its still not THAT hot imho.

I've taken mine off. It will restrict air flow over the top of the motor and down the back as the hot air rises and is trapped under the cover. Also, I've painted my inlet manifold and rocker covers with 2pac and clear coat and they're fine. The only place where the paint has lifted a bit is where the screws have eaten into the paint. I should have used soft washers. That will teach me. I've heard you can even paint blocks with 2pac.

I have a few photos at home of when we did the manifold change. Can anyone host them?
