hey guys,
i've got an 86 falcon that I am doing up from scratch, problem is, the old paint is shot, and have some rust, so I want to get rid of all the nasty s**t.
Question is, what is the best method for stripping paint down? in your opinions
Grinding/sanding or sand blasting?
will i need to go to bare metal or just a sand will do?if so what tools are best?
also whats the best based on price?

Most of my rust is in the bottom of the doors and edge of the boot, would i be better getting 2nd hand doors, that are rust free, rather than cutting and welding?
There is one spot i will need to cut and weld, around the bottom of the boot.
