I need to know something... In South Australia, whats the legal maximum size rim can I go to for a 95 EF falcon?? Currently have 16's, looking to go 18's, but I don't want to get defected. My mate was telling me the law changed or some s**t, that you can go as big as you want as long as there is a 2inch gap from the top of the tyre to the wheel arch.

Does anybody know the number to call Regency at all? Just to be on the safe side?

well im pretty sure in most states its 2 sizes up from the original rim the car had eg if the car came out with 15inch rims 17 inch rims are the largest u can go. dont hold me to that though

saying that cops dont really give a s**t aslong as u dont drive like a d**k head their not gonna pull u over and check your car

yeah i don't plan on being a d***head, hopefully they should have no reason to pull me over unless they're just being picky. For an 18 inch rim do I need to make any major alterations to the wheel arch?

if you have any issues, get the XR tyre placard which states that 16's were an optional wheel, meaning that 18's are legal

yeah that'll work- if the copper was born YESTERDAY.

all the same give it a go. i put a ba xr8 placard on my ba ghia, as im running 20's.

better still, get the thing engineered then when you get pulled ova you can show him the GENUINE plate that says he can take a long walk off a short jetty....
