just thorght id put up my idea for the night...

got a call saying my brothers girlfriend had an accident in my dads car, luckly for everyone it only ended up being a smashed indicator lense and some small scratches up the side, the commodore limped home minus a rear bumper :P as they pulled out infront of her.

anyways we got it home and had a look at it and i know what cops are like with the indicator lenses so to get her through tomorrow till i get my car back and i can change the indicators over i thorght of a way to keep the light orange. i ducked into the shed and found the old christmas light paint for when the lights fade and painted the globe. it came out bright and shows up just as much as the other globes so now if a cop see's her she will still be ok as the indicator is still orange...

has anyone else had any good ideas that have come to you after accidents?

Ahh that's a negative on that one.

there are a few places you can get the orange bulbs in a straight pin. I think some bike shops sell them amongst other places

why is everyone critisizing. this guy had a great idea to get his brothers girlfriend through till they COULD get to a supercheap or whatever. you have to compromise late at night.
