There's a rough guide in my sig, but it's a fair bit of work that way. Gives you an idea though.

If you want the easier option I'd probably just take it to a polishing/chroming place.

Yeah I know mate, I spent many hours doing mine lol, but most people who tell me they are going to do theirs never end up going through with it because its too much work. So I'm just telling it like it is.

Yours is Jay's old rocker cover isn't it, looks familiar. It's what originally inspired me to do mine.

damn you fellas have a lot of time on your hands...im currently polishing some of my things...though i am keeping my rocker cover the same.

BTW how do you go about smoothing up the rocker cover without losing the paint on the rocker cover? I have an EL XR motor here which has lumps of paint. Just want to smoothen it up a little.

phong =P~

use 800 and 1200 wet, with kerosene, or petroleum spirits... you dont need to go to 2000 grit... once you get to 1200 wet, autosole does the rest...

look good fordfreak, lucky i had that plastic cover over the keyboard! could have drooled and broken it! haha
