thanks guys. will have to have a look at what fits and what won't. leaning heavily towards twin pipes now though.

but what about the 2 1/2 v 3 inch? that's got me more concerned really.

i dont know why but the oval one always reminds me that it is some p-plater who thinks that by putting a muffler they are gonna get 50kw more out of the car.

I like the twin pipe. Looks much better and now i see you point about the 8 and 6. Twin for 8, and the oval just looks like an added feature to a 6. What i like is the rectanglular one that came on Xr6, they looked mad but it matched the car.

If i was picking dont pick the shape as its own thing but pick it to add to the car and how it will finish the look of the car.

LOL when i bought my XR6 i had the original tip on it, one of those you have just mentioned and iirc i thought it was crap! However im deciding to replace mine again as im gettin a new zorst system on tuesday so yeah im gonna have to have a good look around i think. :)

i replaced my tip soon after getting a 2.5" lukey, its an oval and looks sweet as. Tip was only ment for a 2 1/4" but the exhaust place made it fit. Can buy it from Repco (part #vt57) about $80ish

ive got a fully sick 4" tip uleh lol

I do agree, oval ones look nice and do the ef bar justice..
